This Gift Box arrangement was put together to honor our customer turned friend, Bob. When we first began retailing our maple syrup (instead of wholesaling it all), one of our first and biggest supporters was Bob. Bob has been incredibly generous with his time and is regularly checking in, sending us news articles and making sure our website is up to snuff. Not only is Bob generous with his time, but he is a generous friend! He loves to send our maple products to his friends, neighbors, local shops, family and anyone he’s thinking of. So to honor his generous spirit, we have put together a sampler with all his favorite mini syrups.
Infused Maple Syrup
Bourbon Barrel and Rum Barrel Aged Maple Syrup REALLY IS the perfect gift for any occasion! It pairs excellently with vanilla ice cream, or Greek yogurt. Or if you’re looking to indulge first thing in the morning it adds a sophisticated taste to your traditional pancakes or waffles.
How did we make our organic maple syrup taste even better? It sounds impossible, but we found a way! The secret is aging our organic syrup in freshly emptied Bourbon or Rum barrels straight from a New England distillery. Over time, the smooth flavors and oak undertones infuse into the syrup. We pour warm syrup straight from the arch into waiting barrels, cork them, and wait patiently until it is time to can them up. Our traditional Organic syrup takes on an elegant twist that is to DIE for!

Vermont Maple Half Pints
Bourbon or Rum Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
We age our Bourbon and rum maple syrups in freshly empties barrels straight from a New England Distillery. As the syrup matures, the smooth flavors and oak undertones of the barrel infuse into the syrup, adding a sophisticated twist on a classic.
Golden Color with Delicate Flavor
Usually made at the beginning of the maple season, this syrup was known once as Fancy. Its subtle maple flavor pairs well with vanilla ice cream and yogurt. It is also an excellent recipe substitute if a strong maple flavor is not desired.
Amber Color with Rich Flavor
Usually made about mid-season and seems to be the most popular for all-around use. Full of characteristic maple flavor, this syrup is equally as good over waffles as it is in salad dressings, cocktails, or in a maple-sweetened barbecue sauce. If you’re only going to have one grade of Vermont maple syrup in your kitchen, make it Amber Color with Rich Flavor.
Dark Color with Robust Flavor
As the maple season progresses, the syrup darkens in color and develops a more robust maple flavor. Good for all around use, its hearty flavor is a great choice for all kinds of recipes. Pour over baked apples or squash, use as a glaze for meats and vegetables, or sweeten baked goods. This grade pairs well with smoky and spicy flavors like chipotle peppers, sriracha, or bourbon.
